Why Magnolia and Fire

The name Magnolia and Fire came to me during a season of breaking and rebuilding. I was questioning a lot—my thoughts, my beliefs, my identity. I didn’t have clear answers, but something in me was shifting. I was starting to heal, even if I couldn’t fully see it at the time.

Magnolia represents softness. It reminds me of grace, beauty, and the quiet kind of strength I leaned on during that time. It’s the Southern part of me that knows resilience doesn’t always look big or bold. Sometimes it’s just showing up, barely holding on, or starting over.

Fire came later. It’s the part that refined me. It burned away things I didn’t need—old stories, false beliefs, unrealistic expectations. It wasn’t easy, but it gave me clarity. Fire is what helped me get honest and move forward.

Together, Magnolia and Fire reflect what this space is about.
Strength and softness.
Healing and growth.
Who I was, and who I’m still becoming.

This name reminds me of the journey I’ve lived—and the kind of space I want to create for others
